It’s true, anyone can fly a drone, but it is illegal to use the drone for commercial activity unless you have a CAA approved Permission for Commercial Operations licence. Using a pilot without this licence can leave you open to fines, seizure of materials and even measures to close down your business.
Not only that but using an unqualified pilot will mean they’re not fully insured and have not been tested on both theory and practical aspects of safe flight.
